Two Beinn Alligins (+ Bertie's first movie)

It was a beautiful Easter weekend over by Loch Torridon.
Beinn Alligin (the Munro) was looking stunning...

One the way home this afternoon I called in to see Granddach Beinn Alligin (the WFT. Also known as Bertie).

He was looking stunning too.....

You have to look at some more mountain pictures:

OK then, one more of Bertie:

and finally....his first movie!

(Bertie stays with his dog mum and siblings for two more weeks)

Gail,

Here in flatter than flat South Florida, those mountains look positively scrumptious!!

And wee Bertie even more so. We got Jakey when he was about twelve weeks old -- so I am having flashes of his puppyhood and look forward to watching Bertie grow!!! But not too fast, right?

Two more weeks and he will be stronger and wilder! What they say for dogs in general goes double for terriers: A Tired Dog is a Good Dog.

I love his black and white markings, such a handsome Bertie!

Cheers and hugs,
Jo and Stella

Oh Gail!

I'm bubbling with excitement!!!
Bertie is the cutest little thing imaginable! You must be splitting yourself in anticipation of his homecoming!

I really am thrilled for you. I hope/know he is going to bring you great joy...amidst a little 'stretching of patience' (I imagine). That energy is contageous!

As for your pictures...all they need now is Bertie in them!

Take care as we all pace out the days!...Can't wait!

Woooos! That Bertie is gonna be fun! Mum loved the mountain photos, but sadly, I am with Jake... none here, I have never seen one I think our highest point is 200 ft above sea level!

SHE is most amazed with yer photos and wants to know what kind of camera you use? It's not the itty bitty shove it in yer front pocket of yer tight jeans kind that SHE uses I bet. Those mountains are beautiful and so clear, it feels like you are standing right there!

I can't wait to see the shenanigans little Burrrrrdy gets up to when he's finally home with you!

sniffies,

What lovely photos! That Torridon region is superb, isn't it? I passed through last year on my Scottish western coast trip.

Your puppy is beautiful and I am exited to read your posts and he becomes part of your family. And your photos are amazing. What a beautiful place you live in.

I must tell you that it was your post signature that caught my eye. We are moving form Montana in the USA to Aberdeen, on the coast of Washington state. My husband was born in Northern England and we both wish it was Aberdeen Scotland we are moving to. But the reason for my comment is that my name is Gail and I will be from Aberdeen..just the one in the USA!!
I am llokin gforward to reading more of your enjpoyable posts!
