I was looking on-line for some information about the J.Bellamy & Sons Ltd.,Castleford,Yorks. As I have just recently purchased a large tin which was probably used in a store as it is larger-11 1/2" high x 9 3/4" wide and 6 1/4" deep with six sides.It reads "Bellamys' Liquorice All-Sorts,J.Bellamy & Sons Ltd.,Castleford,Yorks".So I am writing for two reasons.I would like to know,if you know,when this business was in operation.
